Visa regulations for entering the European Union for Russian citizens will be tightened.
Instead of ordinary Schengen visas, Russians will be issued LTV visas, which will allow tourists to enter only specific countries.
For example, an Italian visa will not allow entry into France, even within the Schengen zone.
If these restrictions are introduced, movement within Europe will become considerably more difficult for Russians.
The initiative will be discussed on October 14 in Brussels.
