TRIPP Development Company Must Permanently Belong to U.S. Government: Mirzoyan

“It is enshrined, there is the signature and commitment of the U.S. government that the TRIPP development company must permanently belong to the U.S. government and cannot be alienated or involve any third party,” Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Ararat Mirzoyan has said, adding that through the TRIPP development company the United States will hold 74 percent of the shares of the Armenian company.

According to him, the Republic of Armenia will hold 26 percent of the shares, and this arrangement will operate for 49 years.

“The sides may extend their legal relations and the viability of the project. In that case automatically, without any other additional involvement on the part of Armenia, our shares will become 49 percent, and the U.S. shares of the TRIPP development company 51 percent,” the minister added.
