On 29 May 2025, the implementation of the project and large-scale construction work began in Yerevan. Around 20 million dollars has already been invested and today two modern sports complexes are operating, in Yerevan’s Avan and Kentron administrative districts.
High-quality pitches with natural and artificial turf have been built in the sports complexes, fields with artificial turf filled with organic materials for young children, as well as an indoor pitch.
The opening of the second branch of the Juventus academy will also take place later.
The multifunctional Freedom Arena of the “Kentron” branch meets UEFA Category 2 standards, where, in addition to football matches, it will be possible to hold sporting and other events. The stadium will have about 2000 seats. Armenia’s first specialized sports-medical clinic and rehabilitation center, Medicina Dello Sport, will also operate on the premises of the sports complex. All sports complexes are also equipped with modern night lighting systems.
