“I warmly congratulate you and extend my sincere wishes to you on the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of Cyprus, Independence Day.

Armenia highly values the relations with Cyprus based on strong friendship and mutual trust, which continue to develop thanks to mutually beneficial cooperation and the close ties existing between our peoples.

I reaffirm Armenia’s readiness to further deepen and strengthen our cooperation through joint efforts, both in bilateral and multilateral formats, as well as within the framework of the Armenia-European Union partnership.

At the same time I wish to emphasize the readiness to raise the level of our relations in directions of mutual interest, with the aim of forming a new agenda of long-term and ambitious cooperation. I am confident that with our joint commitment we will realize this goal and will further expand bilateral cooperation for the benefit of our two countries and peoples.

Seizing this opportunity, I wish you success, and to the friendly people of Cyprus, steady progress and prosperity.”
