Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan welcomed Paula White-Cain’s visit to Armenia and stressed the importance of the dialogue formed with the White House office dealing with faith issues.
Nikol Pashinyan stressed the importance of White Cain’s participation in the second event of the Armenia Prayer Breakfast to be held in the coming days.
Pashinyan hoped that this event will create a platform for frank discussions among participants from different countries. At the same time, Nikol Pashinyan welcomed the recent meeting between US President Donald Trump, Armenian spiritual leaders and the Ambassador of Armenia to the US, which was another occasion to underscore the Armenia-United States partnership, the common Christian heritage and shared values.
White-Cain thanked for the warm hospitality and for the invitation to the Armenia Prayer Breakfast event. Cain noted that they are interested in cooperating closely with both the Government of Armenia and the Armenian spiritual leaders in the US.
During the meeting the interlocutors exchanged views on the second event of the Prayer Breakfast, as well as on other issues of mutual interest.
