TRIPP Will Give Armenia the Opportunity to Join the International Railway Network: Pashinyan

We have repeatedly affirmed the commitment of the Republic of Armenia to continue mutually beneficial cooperation within the framework of the EAEU, aimed at strengthening economic stability and ensuring the sustainable development of the greater region.

RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this in his address at the EAEU intergovernmental meeting.

He noted that Armenia is consistently advancing the agenda of peace and interconnectivity of commercial transport in the region.

“As has been noted many times, the Armenian “Crossroads of Peace” initiative is aimed at creating new opportunities through the development of transport, energetic and digital interconnectivity.

One of the key components of the “Crossroads of Peace” is TRIPP — the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity.”

The TRIPP project will create direct railway communication between Armenia and Azerbaijan. At the same time, the project will give Armenia the opportunity to join the international railway network and will create the opportunity to form railway communication between the Persian Gulf and the Black Sea.

This will be a landmark event in the field of transport links — a change for Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Iran,” he noted.
