Ahead of COP17, the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Environment present the silver commemorative coin dedicated to COP17.
This is the Central Bank’s first commemorative coin made from recycled silver. No gas or other fossil fuels were used during production. The minting was carried out entirely with the use of solar energy, and all packaging components are made from recycled paper. The commemorative coin has been issued for representative purposes.
It not only symbolizes the preservation of biodiversity, but by the manner of its creation reflects the message of COP17, “Acting for Nature”.
