US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation, discussing the process of settlement of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations and the US-Azerbaijan strategic partnership.
According to the Azerbaijani side, the interlocutors touched upon the progress recorded toward the development of the bilateral strategic partnership after the summit held in Washington on 8th of August 2025.
According to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, Bayramov presented to Rubio Azerbaijan’s steps toward advancing the peace agenda, building confidence and strengthening regional stability. The sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
