Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received newly appointed Ambassador of France Florian Escudié, congratulated him on assuming office and wished him productive work.
Nikol Pashinyan stressed the importance of the continued development and expansion of the strategic relations formed between Armenia and France.
Florian Escudié thanked for the warm hospitality and noted that he will exert all efforts for the consistent strengthening of Armenia-France multisectoral cooperation.
During the meeting the interlocutors discussed issues relating to bilateral ties, as well as ongoing programmes and forthcoming projects.
In particular, views were exchanged on the development of economic relations, joint programmes in infrastructures, water resources management and other directions. Reference was made to the course of Armenia-European Union cooperation, as well as to other matters of regional significance.
