Our Main Focus Is Quality: Pashinyan on Road Construction

The government of Armenia has approved the draft government decision on making an amendment to the law on the 2026 state budget and carrying out a reallocation of 8.9 billion drams.

“The draft envisages carrying out the medium repair of roads with a total length of 176.1 km. Of the entire volume, 113.2 km are motor roads of interstate significance, 33.6 km are motor roads of republican significance, and 29.3 km are roads of regional significance,” said Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan.

“They will all undergo medium repair,” said Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and he listed the roads.

“Our main focus is quality, because in parallel with road construction we must constantly and continuously see an improvement in quality, and I know that the ministry has carried out work in this direction. We are acquiring relevant equipment so that we are confident that we have proper quality-control capacities,” said Pashinyan.
