US President Donald Trump said that a presidential resort, similar to Camp David, could be created on the grounds of his golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida. The White House confirmed that the government will discuss that possibility.
According to Trump, the idea was proposed by the US Secret Service and the military. The advantages cited are the absence of high-rise buildings and residential houses around the grounds, the high level of security, and the proximity to law enforcement and the airport.
It is envisaged that future US presidents will also be able to use the resort and hold meetings there with foreign leaders.
