Prince Harry Speaks About His Depression

Prince Harry has said that in 2019, after moving from Great Britain to Canada, he was in a depressive state for about two weeks.

During an online master class devoted to overcoming grief and psychological crises, Harry said that for years he had been under the influence of constant stress and a high level of adrenaline.

“Two-three days after arriving in Vancouver I experienced a sharp drop in my adrenaline level, which I had never encountered before. It was as if I needed constant stress for my brain to be able to function normally. At home I had become completely helpless and fell into depression for about two weeks,” the prince noted.

Prince Harry also admitted that after the tragic death of his mother, Princess of Wales Diana, in 1997, he lived for a long time in “emotional numbness,” because with every attempt to rejoice or be happy he had a feeling of guilt and betrayal.

Prince Harry, who had earlier resigned from the official duties of the royal family, recently returned to Great Britain from the US on a short visit with his wife Meghan and their two children.
