Decisions on the renaming of two streets were adopted at the meeting of the Yerevan council.
Frunze Street in the Shengavit administrative district was renamed Yervandunis, and Nor Aresh 3rd Street was renamed after the poetess and public figure Metakse.
The drafts of the respective decisions emphasized that the renaming is aimed at logically reflecting the historical heritage of the Armenian people.
