RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation Ignazio Cassis.
The Prime Minister stressed the consistent development of Armenia-Switzerland relations and in that regard emphasized the organization of reciprocal high-level visits. Nikol Pashinyan touched upon the developments taking place in the region and added that for the Government of the RA the signing and ratification of the peace agreement with Azerbaijan is an absolute priority.
Ignazio Cassis added that Switzerland also attaches importance to the development of political, economic and humanitarian ties. He welcomed and stressed the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, expressing hope that the signing of the peace agreement will take place as soon as possible.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on issues of mutual interest.
