“Iran is concerned by the U.S. presence in the region, but trusts Armenia.”
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated this.
“We are concerned by any U.S. presence in the region and around us. At the same time, we maintain close ties with our Armenian friends and trust them,” the Iranian minister said.
According to Araghchi, Tehran is confident that Armenia will not take any step directed against Iran’s security.
