United States President Donald Trump has said that the conflict in Ukraine can be resolved, but without Zelensky.
“I think Russia and Ukraine will in the end find a solution one way or another. But it will be without Zelensky, because he does not want to negotiate,” Trump said. The American president stressed that it is “difficult to deal with” the president of Ukraine.
Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov also told reporters that discussion of options for a peaceful settlement of the war in Ukraine is impossible without Kyiv’s participation.
“Regardless of our wishes, it is impossible to discuss anything without the current Ukrainian leadership,” he said.
Trump also blamed Zelensky for the rise in oil prices, the cause of which, according to the United States president, is the Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil refineries.
