RA President Vahagn Khachaturyan met with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres at the presidential residence.
Welcoming the guest to Yerevan, the President highly appreciated his efforts toward strengthening international peace and addressing global challenges, and stressed the importance of his participation in the Leaders’ Summit.
Antonio Guterres thanked him for the warm reception, said he was impressed by Armenia and Yerevan, and underlined the importance of holding the COP conference.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the significance of regional peace for the development of infrastructure and tourism, and also touched upon issues relating to Armenia-UN bilateral programmatic cooperation and UN reforms.
