Iran has threatened to strike the undersea internet cables passing through the Strait of Hormuz if the US carries out a new attack against the country. This was reported by the Fars agency, citing Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps representative Hossein Mohebi.
According to him, seven large undersea cables pass through the strait, which ensure the transfer of global internet data and commercial information. Mohebi warned Washington to refrain from new attacks against Iran.
