Arsen Harutyunyan, who defeated American Austin DeSanto 6-3 at the RAF 13 tournament held in Miami on 19 September and won the championship belt, wrote.
“It was a great honour for me to meet the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, and to personally present my RAF championship belt. I thank him for the warm reception, the sincere conversation and the attention shown.
During the meeting we spoke about the future of Armenian wrestling, about inspiring the young generation and about my goals for the development of wrestling in Armenia. For me every victory is not only a personal achievement, but also an opportunity to hold Armenia’s flag high with honor and to inspire our youth by my example.
