Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has made a post announcing that 1141 applications were submitted to take part in the “Government Personnel Bank” program. 269 candidates from 29 countries have been included in the personnel system.
“Dear people,
On 15 June I invited graduates of the world’s leading universities to place their knowledge and professional experience at the service of the public administration system of the Republic of Armenia.
Today we can already sum up the results of the first phase of the “Government Personnel Bank” program.
In total 1141 applications had been received. Thanks to the study of those applications, interviews and professional assessment, 269 candidates from 29 countries have been included in the Government personnel bank.
The average age of the selected candidates is 33.3, and women make up 42 percent.
According to the available data, about 93 percent of the candidates have Armenian roots, while 7 percent are specialists of non-Armenian origin. That is, not only our compatriots from the Diaspora have joined the program, but also foreign specialists interested in professional cooperation with Armenia.
As of now, positive decisions on employment or appointment have been adopted concerning more than 30 candidates, and 16 of them have already been appointed to senior state positions, including deputy ministers, heads of commissions and other positions of high responsibility.
A closed electronic platform is already operating in the Government, through which ministries and other state bodies can study the candidates’ professional portfolios and establish direct contact with specialists matching their needs.
The personnel bank will continue to operate and be replenished.
The next phase of the program is planned to be carried out in 2027.
I am grateful to all 1141 participants who applied to the program for the interest and trust they have shown in the initiative,” Pashinyan wrote.
