“We long ago suspended our participation in the work of the CSTO, we have frozen our membership.”
Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan said this at a joint press conference with the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia, answering a question as to whether Armenia has a decision to leave the CSTO.
“If the other members of the structure and the General Secretariat (though I do not know how much competence the secretariat has on that issue at all) make comments, in vain, we will not change our attitude and we do not see our return to the CSTO,” he stressed.
