Bishop Hovakim Manukyan to To Run Half Marathon in London

On 14 November, Bishop Hovakim Manukyan, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of the United Kingdom and Ireland, will be running the Battersea Half Marathon in support of Aid to the Church in Need UK (ACN UK),  which raises awareness of the persecution of Christians around the world.

The Bishop has already started training for the run. The race starts at 10:30 in the morning, and he hopes to cross the finish line at 12:30 p.m.

The 13.1-mile race backs the Red Wednesday campaign of Aid to the Church in Need, a charity that supports vulnerable Christian communities and lights churches in red to mark the witness of the persecuted. The bishop is aiming to raise 5,000 pounds.
