On the sidelines of the “Manama Dialogue” international conference, RA Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Ararat Mirzoyan met with Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptians Abroad of Egypt Badr Abdel Aaty.
The ministers discussed issues concerning the expansion of cooperation between the two countries, including possible steps aimed at promoting trade and economic ties.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on regional developments. Minister Mirzoyan presented the steps being taken toward the institutionalization of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, also stressing the constructive role of international partners on the consistent advancement of the peace agenda. Reference was made to issues of interaction on multilateral platforms.
The interlocutors discussed the latest developments in the Middle East and the efforts aimed at establishing peace and stability in the region.
