Papoyan: Armenia Gives Much to the EAEU

“Armenia gives much to the EAEU and must also receive. It should be noted that the Republic of Armenia has fulfilled and fulfils all its obligations toward the EAEU. Armenia also expects that all EAEU countries will fulfil their obligations in full,” Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan said during the preliminary discussions of the 2027 draft budget.

According to him, the situation created is an economic dispute, and the restrictions imposed on Armenia are unfounded.

“And that is the reason we have applied to the EAEU commission with an initiative to recognize the ban, and we expect that a fair decision will be made,” the minister stressed.

He also touched on the gas tariff, stressing that for Armenia it is not at all cheap.
