Two members of the crew of a Mirage 2000D multifunctional fighter of the French Air and Space Forces were killed as a result of its crash. One of the killed officers is of Armenian descent, Lieutenant Colonel Antranig Sarkisian.
According to preliminary data, the combat aircraft was carrying out a scheduled training flight, during which an emergency situation occurred, which caused the crash of the aircraft.
