Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that he is ready to reach an agreement to end the war as soon as possible.
“Peace is what we strive for most of all,” he said.
The President of Ukraine repeated that they can discuss the scenario of freezing operations along the current front line, after which they will continue to negotiate. At the same time, Zelensky stressed that Ukraine will not recognise the territories seized by Russia.
Speaking about Western support, Zelensky stated that they lack air defence systems, which is problematic, especially on the eve of winter.
The President of Ukraine also expressed hope that relations between Washington and Kyiv will be strong, sincere, friendly and free of misunderstandings.
“I do not play games with Trump. It is better to have partners like me, who are grateful when they truly feel that way, than to express thanks every second and in the end resemble Putin, who demonstratively pretends to be excessively grateful, but as soon as you turn your back, stabs you in the back,” Zelensky stated.
