The delegation led by Foreign Minister of the Netherlands Tom Berendsen visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial on October 27, accompanied by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Netherlands Viktor Biyagov and Ambassador of the Netherlands to the Republic of Armenia Marike Harriet Monroy-Winter.
Tom Berendsen laid a wreath at the memorial perpetuating the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide, after which the members of the delegation laid flowers at the eternal flame, paying tribute to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
The guests also visited the Armenian Genocide Museum, where, accompanied by Deputy Director for Museum Work of the AGMI Lusine Abrahamyan, they became acquainted with different aspects of the history of the Armenian Genocide.
At the end of the tour Tom Berendsen made a note in the Book of Honoured Guests.
In conclusion Acting Director of the AGMI Hrachya Tashchyan thanked the members of the delegation for the visit and presented the head of the delegation with the picture book of the Armenian Genocide Museum.
