Voting Against the Constitution Will Mean Voting Against Peace: Pashinyan

“Voting against the Constitution will mean voting against peace, that is, voting for war,” Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated, speaking about the opposition’s negative reaction to the process of constitutional amendments.

To the question of whether it is guaranteed that a peace agreement will be signed after the amendment of the Constitution, the prime minister noted: “I have not looked at the question of the Constitution from that point of view. I must formulate clearly a proposal that the opposition cannot refuse: it means that when that question is raised, I say clearly, yes, I guarantee it, and as a guarantee I put my political credibility and my mandate,” he said.
