“As of November 1, 53,039 persons forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh have applied to receive Armenian citizenship,” Interior Minister Arpine Sargsyan said during the joint meeting of the National Assembly’s standing committees at the preliminary discussion of the 2027 state budget.
According to her, 32,690 persons have been granted citizenship by decree of the President of Armenia, while 14,344 minors have received citizenship through passportization, Arpine Sargsyan added.
