A meeting between Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian took place in Turkmenistan.
The interlocutors stressed the importance of frequent high-level bilateral contacts and noted with satisfaction that they contribute to the consistent development and expansion of Armenia-Iran relations.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the two countries have a rich cooperation agenda and Iranian companies are involved in strategic projects being implemented in Armenia.
The sides expressed confidence that in the coming period Armenia-Iran relations will rise to a new level. The importance of high-level reciprocal visits planned for the coming period was also stressed.
Nikol Pashinyan and Masoud Pezeshkian exchanged views on other issues of bilateral interest.
