Twenty-seven years have passed since the October 27 terrorist attack. On that day in 1999, an armed group burst into the session hall of the National Assembly. NA President Karen Demirchyan, Prime Minister Vazgen Sargsyan, NA Vice-Presidents Yuri Bakhshyan and Ruben Miroyan, Minister Leonard Petrosyan, and deputies Armenak Armenakyan, Mikael Kotanyan and Henrik Abrahamyan were killed.
